Event’s logo is inspired to the one from 2003 European Championship to maintain a coherent relationship between two events.
The stencil where inscriptions are enclosed in recalls softball glove, a fundamental equipment of this sport. At the same time it is an opening hand with the meaning of friendship and welcome. At Caronno Pertusella softball stadium entrance, a concrete structure representing a hand is placed to underline that sport is friendship and welcome, even more when teams from different countries meet together.
